Reconnecting With Intuition Through Exploration

Over the past few months, I’ve poured much of my energy into exploring and adventuring in nature climbing mountain tops, wandering new terrain, and reconnecting with the wild.

What continues to stand out to me is how deeply connection to the natural world, especially through exploration — opens up our intuitive nature.

There is something about stepping outside of routine and into the elements that awakens a part of us that modern life often keeps quiet.

Remembering How We Once Lived

There was a time when humans lived in harmony with nature… In cliff dwellings and open landscapes, we relied on the cycles of the moon, the flow of water, the position of the sun in the sky, and the wildlife and plants around us. Our survival depended on awareness, presence., and reading subtle signals of energy all around us.

We relied on our fitness and health, community support and embodiment of the nature of our intuition.

Exploration as a Teacher

Exploration reminds me of all of this. It is fun. It is exciting. And it develops me in ways I’m both aware of and unaware of my in mind, body, and spirit.

I don’t think we always fully understand what we gain from these experiences. But I believe it’s important to trust that something is always being cultivated when we follow our intuition and let nature lead the way.

Building Trust in Yourself

Learning to build my intuitive nature has strengthened the trust I have in myself — and in the decisions I make in this world.

Trust doesn’t come from thinking more.
It comes from experiencing more.
From listening inward.
From following the quiet pull instead of the loud noise.

And nature has been one of my greatest teachers in that process.
